FMP11 on Windows 7 not seeing hosted files on FMA8 Server
Here is the situation:
I performed a clean install of Windows 7 on a new computer, then installed FileMaker Pro 11 client and upgraded to 11.0v2. I installed Bonjour.
I have a FileMaker Server Advanced 8.0v4 hosting databases. All computers running Mac OS or Windows XP can see and open these hosted files with either FMP11 or FMP8.
The Windows 7 machine can see the host server but it will not list or open any files on the server. I have enabled FMP to work through the Windows Firewall (network ports 5000-5010), and have tried turning off the Windows Firewall with no change in results.
All computers are on the same building network with no firewall between them.
It seems that something is blocking this computer from seeing the hosted files. How do I fix this problem?
Thank you,
John Williamson
