[FMPro] Exporting Repetitions to Two Cells in a Excel CSV Document
In our FileMaker database I created a layout with only the data we want to export and one of the fields "First Name" has two repetitions (his & her first name). Using the Field Control Setup we created two data fields one for each repetition: "First Name" and "First Name[2]."
Although on the layout we see two data fields, when we try to export to an Excel CSV document the only "Field" Choice to export is "First Name" and both names appear in one Excel CSV cell instead of two cells.
Is there any way to export "First Name" and "First Name[2]" into two different Excel CSV cells without changing the database field?
Sincerely,
George Ware
