I am in the middle of developing a solution. For the past 24 hours I have
been working from a copy that I have been running on FMS11A (Mac) so I could
test performance over the network. (All of the database files on the server
are being backed up every hour.)

I was in the process of pulling the files from the server so I could move
them to my local computer. From the FileMaker Server admin panel I closed
the file. Next, I regrettably selected the "Remove" option thinking that it
was simply going to remove it from the list. And poof...my file was gone!

I thought, no problem, I will just go to the last backup and use that.
What??? No backups of the file anywhere??? Even though my backup schedule is
defined to back up "All" databases for some strange reason it was not
backing up this particular file.

Okay, plan B. Go the "Removed by FMS" folder and pull the copy from there.
Nope...it's not there either. All of my other files that have been removed
are there but not this one!

So now I am in the process of looking for a recovery tool to retrieve the
file that FMS has deleted. Does anyone have any idea why this has happened
and how I can get my file back?
