Hi.

I have a client running about half a dozen copies of Filemaker on a shared system that is being shared off a *client* - not the server. He says when he bought Filemaker, they didn't think he'd need the server. Things worked fine at first but his crashes have been steadily increasing. Now that he's got about 130,000 records in the system, the system is crashing multiple times a day, with no association with any particular actions. He says one person will get a coffee cup and the rest get rolling beach balls. He's running on Windows. I'm not sure which flavor. I'm thinking 7 but it might be Vista. I know he had something running on Vista for awhile, but that had been discouraged. I'm thinking maybe he just needs to get Filemaker server. He's running the latest version of Filemaker (11) with no updates due.

Anyone have any similar experiences that might shed light on this problem?
