[FMPro] Recovering from runtime application
The old rule about using a FileMaker runtime application to recover a damaged file was to launch the application while holding down the Control and Shift keys, which would then bring up the dialog box asking which file you wanted to recover. It isn't working.
I am on a Mac running Mountain Lion. I have Parallels with a 64-bit version of Windows 7 installed. In Windows, when I hold down the Control and Shift keys while double-clicking the application icon, instead of opening the FileMaker runtime application it gives me a dropdown menu with Open, Run as Administrator, a bunch of other things, then ending with Properties.
Is there a way to recover in this situation?
Thanks
Katherine
