[FMPro] Send Mail doesn't work for multiple users?
FileMaker Experts,
Does Send Mail script step work, in a multi-user environment?
To allow each user to send an email from their own email account?
It seems to me, that the Send Via SMTP Server, makes me enter the SMPT settings in the script.
That script then has the same settings for all users.
So it only works with one email address, for all users in a multi-user database.
Hosting the multi-user file in FileMaker 11 Server
I would like to have a "Send Email" button and script.
I would like:
When Steve sends an email, it looks to the recipient like it came from Steve's email account.
The receiver can hit "Reply" and send an email back to Steve's email address.
Then Kim opens the shared database, hits "Send email"
FileMaker sends an email that appears to come from Kim's email account,
So the recipient can press Reply, etc.
Does anyone know how to do this?
thank you,
Kevin
