[FMPro] Upgrading Server Software
Hi All
My simple 2 machine setup is:
Mac Pro running Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and FileMaker Server 11 for the Web Publishing Engine
Mac mini running Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and FileMaker Server 11 for the Databases server.
I'm planning to upgrade both this evening to Mac OS X Lion and FileMaker Server 12.
Plan is to upgrade Mac mini and Mac Pro to Mac OS X Lion and then install FileMaker Server 12 on to each of them.
I presume by now that there are quite a few people running such setups, and that I shouldn't encounter any problems?
If there are any things I need to be wary of, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Including:
does the upgrade to Lion respect my httpd.conf files plus the vhosts.conf file? (I've got backups of them in any case).
I'm running the PHP 5.3.10 from here
http://taracque.hu/php5/
since I need freetype and GD- Apple doesn't include freetype as far as I know still - it works with Mac OS X Lion on my MacBook Pro, so I'm assuming will be OK on my Mac Pro too under Lion.
Thanks!!
Roger
