You won't regret this- I've been TH9 for ~ 2 months and delayed my mortars until now (I was very rushed- only splash was maxed before I upgraded and the rest of my defense was TH6/7 quality). I've found gold mortars to be borderline unhelpful at TH9 though. lvl 7 troops from TH10's just laugh at them under a heal spell and if you're getting hit with lvl5/6 troops chances are your wiz towers are going to take them out anyways.


Really wish I had done mortars sooner.
