How can I parse a single field to many records?
This example is truncated for purpose of illustration. The actual text
string has approximately 30 columns and several hundred lines.
I have a single field that contain several hundred lines that look like
this:
ttid,msoft_code,phard_code,type
108,INT_SUCCESS,SUCCESS,PREAUTH
109,INT_SUCCESS,SUCCESS,PREAUTH
110,INT_SUCCESS,SUCCESS,PREAUTH
The data is in a calculation field that is being parsed by a custom XML
function. I need to get this data (from a single field in a single record)
into a table as individual records. I also need to remove the empty lines.
What is the cleanest way to do this?
The unparsed XML data looks something like this:
XML_OUT:
<ProcessorResp>
<DataTransferStatus code="SUCCESS"/>
<Resp identifier="1">
<code>SUCCESS</code>
<DataBlock>ttid,msoft_code,phard_code,type
108,INT_SUCCESS,SUCCESS,PREAUTH
109,INT_SUCCESS,SUCCESS,PREAUTH
110,INT_SUCCESS,SUCCESS,PREAUTH
</DataBlock>
</Resp>
</ProcessorResp>
